Director Biography – Nicole Berger (HOLES)

Nicole Berger is one of television’s most versatile and sought after choreographers. In 2006, while on set as a principle dancer in Julie Taymor’s ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, she was mentored by acclaimed cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel on the how to’s of capturing dance on Film. credits: DEADWOOD, The GOOD PLACE, BROOKLYN NINE NINE, VEEP, PARKS AND RECREATION, BLESS THIS MESS and SONY Picture Classics film THE WACKNESS. She is the Artistic Director of Los Angeles based dance theater company COMPANY RHOME, and a founding member of COMPANY RHOME PRODUCTIONS.

Director Statement

Nicole sends a huge thank you to the iconic rock band THE POLICE for their permission to use their song Hole In My Life to serve as our characters dialogue. And many thanks to Cherry Tree Music Company, UMe and Sony/AVT for helping it all come together!
